The death toll in the Karaswada tragedy has risen to three after 30-year-old Suvarna Jadhav succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim.

Suvarna had been admitted in critical condition after she and her family were found inside their rented house at Indiranagar, Karaswada, on Saturday.

A day earlier, her husband, 38-year-old Ajay Jadhav, and their seven-year-old son, Atharva, were found dead at the residence. Following the incident, Suvarna was shifted to GMC for treatment, where she later passed away.

The Jadhav family hailed from Sonurli in Sawantwadi, Maharashtra, and had been residing in Karaswada.
