The Bhoma Village Panchayat has decided not to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the proposed Banastarim Bridge and the four-lane bypass highway project, citing confusion over the proposal submitted by the concerned department.

According to the Panchayat, the proposal seeks approval for both the Banastarim Bridge and the four-lane bypass highway under a single application, making it difficult for members to assess the projects independently.

Panchayat members maintained that the two projects are separate in nature and should be presented individually for proper discussion and evaluation. They said issuing an NOC without clarity on the scope and impact of each project would not be appropriate.

The Panchayat has resolved to withhold the NOC until the concerned department submits separate proposals with complete details for each project.
