A fresh political war of words has erupted in Goa, with GPCC President Girish Chodankar alleging that the BJP has set aside ₹100 crore to float a secular party ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections to divide secular votes. Rejecting the allegation, BJP spokesperson Siddharth Kunkolienkar launched a sharp attack on Chodankar, claiming he has "lost his mental balance." Kunkolienkar also accused Chodankar of targeting former Congress leaders and making baseless allegations.
