The High Court on Wednesday heard arguments in the case concerning the protection wall at Karapur, with the developer's counsel stating that the construction has been carried out strictly in accordance with the approved plan.
During the hearing, the advocate representing the developer informed the court that seven access points have been provided to ensure villagers can continue to reach their properties and use existing routes.
The counsel also requested the court to verify whether the pathways claimed by the villagers actually exist and are in regular use before deciding the matter. The defence urged that the issue be examined on the basis of factual verification during the next stage of the proceedings.
The High Court has adjourned the case, with the next hearing scheduled for August.
